This headboard is upholstered in Painted Ikat Green by Helene Blanche – an expressive fabric where a hand-painted ikat pattern flows across a light base in a soft, rhythmic movement. The organic lines create a sense of motion and bring a distinct character to the room, while the palette of greens and natural tones remains balanced and harmonious.
Each headboard is handcrafted in our atelier in Stockholm, where every detail is shaped with care. The softly flowing silhouette enhances the movement of the fabric, while piping along the edge frames the form and adds a tailored finish. The result is a headboard that brings both energy and calm – a textile centrepiece where pattern, craftsmanship and form come together in a natural whole.

The fabric
Helene Blanche and the Ikat fabric are a tribute to the Japanese weaving technique Kasuri. The pattern, hand-painted in ink on silk by Helene Blanche, has been printed on fabric and wallpaper with visible brushstrokes that preserve the artistic expression. The result is a modern yet timeless ikat-inspired pattern that gives the room a sophisticated, artistic feel. Here in the color Sienna
